Teachers
Megan Vaughan - Kindergarten
I am Megan Vaughan, kindergarten teacher with Kansas City Virtual Academy. After recognizing that successful students become successful adults, I dedicated myself to teaching and received my first degree from Missouri State University in 2008. I went on to obtain my Master's Degree from Northcentral University. I have 9 years of teaching experience, and so far kindergarten is my favorite grade to teach! In my spare time I love reading books, being outdoors and spending time with my family.

I love the Midwest and am so excited to get to know my students and help them grow in their education.
Dana Farrar - 4th Grade

Four generations of women in my family attended/earned degrees from Wichita State, where I earned both my bachelor’s and my master’s degrees. I have taught school for 14 years in Kansas City. With family and friends and on my own, I like to explore the arts and the culture of a community.
